Fishers Fire Station 397 - 15109 E. 136th Street
This firehouse opened on February 14, 2023 and is currently home to Engine and Medic 397. Located in the far northeastern portion of Fishers, this firehouse was necessary due to the rapidly growing residential neighborhoods in the area including the extensive Del Webb.

This engine entered service with the opening of Station 97 on February 14, 2023. Engine 397 is a twin to Engine 396 and were delivered to FFD in the fall of 2022.

Engines 396 and 397 are the 6th and 7th Pierce Sabers purchased by the department and completed the standardization of the frontline fleet.

Medic 397 protects the east side of Fishers. From 2013-early 2023, this ambulance responded from IU Saxony Hospital where they had a small crew quarters. Medic 397's crew of 2 previously shared meals and training with Station 96. On February 14, 2023, this rig finally found a permanent home with the opening of Station 97.

This photo shows the south-facing rear side of the firehouse. Station 397 is nearly identical to Station 393 with the exception of a larger workout room on the east end. This station has 3, double-deep, drive-through bays which allow for apparatus flexibility for years to come. As with 393, the individual crew quarters are located on the northside and each has a jack-and-jill shared bathroom. The crew quarters are separated from the living, meeting and kitchen areas for quiet and privacy.
