Jackson Township is located 28 miles north of Indianapolis in northern Hamilton County. This career department includes 9 full-time firefighters, 1 part-time Chief, 1 part-time Asst. Chief and 30+ paid part-time members. JTFD provides Fire, Rescue, Water Rescue and ALS protection to approximately 10,000 residents and 53 square miles including the towns of Arcadia, Atlanta and Jackson Township. ALS service is also provided to neighboring White River Township.
