The "10th Street Express"  of Station 43 protects a mixed residential and commercial area including some very busy traffic areas along 10th Street and I-465. Their current firehouse was dedicated in August 1999 and originally served as Station 443 for Warren Township. After the merger with IFD, a Tactical Rescue was added to this apparatus at this station and the 43's remain one of the busier houses in the city.
