Station 44 "Joker's Wild" protects the city's east side along 38th street and Shadeland Avenue. This firehouse was built shortly before Warren Township merged with IFD and served as Station 444. With it's mix of busy highways, large commercial corridors and industrial sites, Warren Township is always a potential site for Hazardous Material incidents. The 44 's is the centerpiece of the East and Northside Hazmat Task Force with a focus on attack and containment.
