Station 27 is typically one of the 3 busiest firehouses in the city. "Brookside's Bravest" protects the working class neighborhoods just east/northeast of downtown. Station 27's district includes residential, commercial and along 38th street on the city's near northeast side. The 27's is also home base for IFD's Irish Firefighters group.
