Opened on November 23, 2015, Station 7 remains one of the largest stations in the city. The new IFD Station 7 is the 6th location for Station 7 since 1874. Former locations include - 25 East South Street (1856-1874), 26 E Maryland Street (1875 – 1922), 250 Massachusetts Ave (1872 – 1914), 301 East New York St (1914-1979) and 555 N New Jersey St (June 1st 1979 to December 2015). Several of the highlights of this new firehouse include a roof top training pad that includes permanent anchors for rope rescue training, interior exposed beam for High Angle Rope Training in the bay.
