Decatur Township is located in the southwest corner of Indianapolis and Marion County. DTFD responds to more than 6,000 runs each year. They provide Fire, Rescue and EMS Services to approximately 40,000 residents in a 33 square mile area. Three fire stations protect a mixed residential, rural and commercial district. The department is staffed with 64 paid professional firefighters and paramedics.
