Pike Township is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis. It is approximately bordered by I-465 to the north, Eagle Creek Reservoir to the west,  Lafayette Road to the south and Michigan Road to the east. Pike Township includes 5 firehouses which provide Fire, Rescue and ALS/BLS transport protection to their area. PTFD regularly works incidents with neighboring departments on all sides.
