Warren Township is located on the east central side of Indianapolis between the City of Lawrence and Franklin Township. WTFD's  5 stations provided Fire, Rescue, Hazmat and ALS protection to over 100,000 residents and 33 square miles. Warren Township regularly responded to some of the busiest traffic areas in the state on I-465 and I-70. Warren's fire stations were reassigned as Battalion 4 with the IFD merger in 2007 and all are still in use as IFD firehouses.
