E-54 previously responded as the second-due apparatus to most fire calls. This rig was sold to the Butterfield, Missouri Fire Protection District in 2019 after the arrival of Engine 53.

Command 50 served as a take-home and initial response vehicle for the department's chief and/or assistant chief. This rig was reassigned from Rescue Squad 51 to a Command Unit.
