The small town of Swayzee is located along IN-13 in western Grant County. Established in 1951, the 21 members of this all-volunteer department provide Fire, Rescue and First Responder Medical protection across 62 square miles. Their Fire Territory protects the communities of Swayzee, Sims, Herbst, and the townships of Liberty, Franklin, and Sims.
