The Town of Mentone is located 105miles NNE of Indianapolis at the crossroads of IN-25 and IN-19 in eastern Kosciusko County. Organized in 1886, MVFD now includes 29 members who respond to 90 Fire and Rescue runs each year. EMS was organized as a separate department in 1976. Together these two departments protect 120 square miles including all of Franklin, 1/2 of Harrison and 2/3 of New Castle Townships.
