The Town of Ligonier is located between South Bend and Fort Wayne at the crossroads of IN-5, US-33 and US-6 in western Noble County. First organized in 1917, this combination department includes 27 members who respond to 400 runs each year. LFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to the Town of Ligonier, all of Perry Township and 1/4 of Elkhart Township.
