Station 1 - Bremen

Bremen Fire Station - S Center Street & State Road 106

This firehouse was actually added onto the back side of Town Hall, and faces south. The original station (facing east) was part of Town Hall, which was originally built in 1923. The right side addition was completed in the 1960's. The tower represented on the department’s logo was designated an "American Historic Water Landmark" in 1975. The "Standpipe" is 101ft tall, can hold 30,000 gallons and was erected in 1882. The tower remained in service until 1955 and still stands across from the firehouse.

This rig carries a small portable generator to provide scene lighting.

Brush 17 - 1993 Chevy K3500/Hoosier – 200gpm/250gal

BR-17 carries a small portable generator for scene lighting. It is also used as a snow plow for the department.

Rescue 8 - 2005 GMC K5500/2006 KME (#6228) – 500gpm/350gal/30F

R-8 responds to all vehicle accidents and carries a set of TnT extrication tools.

Ladder 10 - 2000 Pierce Dash 105ft Aerial (#11250) – 1750gpm/500gal

This apparatus is one of only a handful of rigs in Indiana with all-steer capabilities.

Engine 11 - 2006 International/KME (#6466) – 1500gpm/1000gal

Engine 11 is first-due for all fire calls at Bremen.

Engine 12 - 1992 GMC TopKick/KME Pumper (#1523) – 1250gpm/1000gal

Tanker 14 - 1995 GMC TopKick/KME (#2590) – 500gpm/1800gal

TK-14 responds as the third-due tanker for BFD.

Utility 15 - 1999 Ford F-250 4x4

Tanker 16 - 2001 International/KME (#4951) – 500gpm/2000gal

TK-16 responds as the second-due tanker.

Tanker 18 - 2011 International DuraStar/2012 Rosenbauer (PA8307-serial, 2102012-prod) – 500gpm/2000gal

Tanker 18 is the first-due tanker at Bremen.

Squad 19 - 1995 GMC TopKick/KME (2667) walk-in Rescue

Squad 19 responds as a support truck and is second-out for any type of run. This rig carries turnout gear, spare air bottles, a generator and a light tower.

Command 21 - 2007 Chevy Suburban Incident Command Vehicle

Antique - 1947 Dodge Power Wagon/1960's local – 150gpm/150gal

This classic truck was used for brush and power/lighting duties. It also carried a plow for many years. This rig started out red and was then painted lime before being completely restored by members over the last few years. And it is still fully operational.
