Brown County is located in south central Indiana. The county seat (and only incorporated town) is Nashville. The county is best known as home to the Brown County State Park and much of the Hoosier National Forest . The quaint towns combine with winding, rolling hills and beautiful forests to provide some of the most amazing fall colors in the country. Six volunteer fire departments and one county-wide EMS service protect the 15,234 residents and 316 square miles of Brown County.
