The Town of Ramsey is located 40 miles west of Louisville along IN-64 in northwest Harrison County. Organized in 1961, the 46 members of this all-volunteer department respond to 1,000 runs each year. RVFD provides Fire, Rescue and BLS transport protection to 108 square miles. Their district includes the Towns of Ramsey and New Salisbury along with Blue River, Spencer, & Jackson Townships.
