Washington Township is located 110 miles southwest of Indianapolis and surrounds the Town Of Washington in southwestern Daviess County. Established in 1974, this all-volunteer department includes 21 members who responds from two stations. WTFD provides Fire and Rescue protection to approximately 6,000 residents. EMS Service is provided locally by Southwest Ambulance Service.
