The village of Midland is located 87 miles southwest of Indianapolis along IN-59 in northwest Greene County. Organized in 1979, the 20 members of this all-volunteer department respond to 170 runs each year. WTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to 4,200 residents and 48 square miles. Their area includes all of Wright Township and half of Smith Township.
