The Town of Cannelton is located along SR-66 and the Ohio River in southern Perry County. First organized in 1837, the 24 members and 5 reserve members of this all-volunteer department respond to 30 fire runs each year. Their protection area includes 38 square miles including the City of Cannelton and portions of Tobin and Troy Townships.
