Pike County is located 125 miles southwest of Indianapolis along IN-57 in southwest Indiana. The City of Petersburg serves as the county seat and largest municipality. Seven volunteer fire departments and a county-wide EMS service protect the county's 341 square miles and 12,845 residents.
