First organized on June 1st, 1980, Boone County EMS provides ALS and BLS transport protection to the 23,566 residents of this mostly rural county. BCEMS is based in Lebanon at Witham Hospital. However, they currently operates ambulances out of five locations throughout the county and share firehouses with several departments as their primary EMS service.
