Center Township is located 29 miles northwest of Indianapolis along I-65 in central Boone County. CTFD is now a career department that provides Fire and Rescue protection to nearly 3,000 residents and approximately 57 square miles outside of the Lebanon city limits. The CTFD apparatus fleet is comprised of 6 apparatus including 2 tankers and 2 engine/tankers due to its mostly rural response area. ALS transport service is provided throughout much of the county by Boone County EMS.
