Engine 76 - 1970 Ward LaFrance Ambassador (80-291)/1989 E-One – 2000gpm/500gal/50 foam
This apparatus was rebuilt in 1989 by the Chicago Fire Department shops & Able Fire & Safety (the local E-One dealer) using a Ranger cab and and E-One body. It was one of six such rebuilds and served as CFD E46. This truck was truely one of the rigs used in the filming of Backdraft. After CFD, it went to Clinton Township, IN before coming to St Bernice in 2011.
