On January 1, 2015, Riley, Honey Creek and Sugar Creek Townships began a joint agreement between the three townships and their trustees to provide 24/7/365 ALS transport protection to residents of the three townships. Medic 42 was originally a full-time ALS unit manned by Riley Fire paramedics and EMT's that was kept at Sugar Creek Township Station 42. Due to a lack of call volume, this rig was reassigned to Riley's fire station and is no longer manned full time. The second unit (Medic 92) remains at Honey Creek Township Station 92 and is manned 24/7/365. A great example of Townships coming together to provide the best services to their residents!
